received his B.S. degree from
Korea (1992), his M.S. degree from Polytechnic
Institute of New York University
(NYU-Poly) in New York (1996) and his Ph.D. degree from Georgia Institute of Technology
Atlanta, GA (2001), respectively. The title of his Ph.D. dissertation is
"Measurement, Characterization and Modeling of World Wide Web Traffic.
He joined Lancope
in 2001 and remained until 2004 where he guided, and
contributed to research in the Internet security.
He held internships at BTC (1997), EchoStar (1998), Lucent Technologies
(1999), and Broadcom (2000), respectively where he developed a Web
traffic model and MAC protocols for different Internet access
technologies. He was a recipient of the best employ award by
AirloopTM group in Lucent Technologies.
Currently, he is a director of a education center for mobile communications (ECMC
